losing weight and appearing thinner are not always the same thing.

make sure you take your measurements if you’re trying to appear thinner.

also it’s not always how much you eat but what you eat….

if you’re eating a lot of processed and convenience foods (which are packed with perservatives and salt) it will take longer to see a difference becuase of intaking those.

If you’re eating whole foods (mainly good meat –chicken, fish, lean beef and pork, other proteins-eggs, beans, lentils, and healthy fats–avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, lots of fruit and veggies and no “bad carbs” –processed white bread, sweets, etc) you will see the loss faster.

What do you typically eat?

Sometimes it takes our bodies a little while to catch up to all the good things we are doing for it. 🙂 Just keep up the good work and you’ll see results. I know it’s discouraging to see the scale move UP insead of down, but you’ll get there.  You’re doing all the right things.

I would say chances are you gained muscle mass. Did your size change at all?  That is the only true measure to go by, weight is just a number, if you weigh 170lbs but only have a body fat % of 15% your doing very well.
