princessmiaofgenovia :  it sounds like they probably screwed up your ring and rather than admitting to that, they just tried to cover it up and refund you. The entire company just seems shady af and I cannot believe they’re still in business with all these shitty reviews…

If one of the issues was so small they couldn’t see it and you had to specifically point it out, it sounds like they probably just didnt want to deal with such a … detail oriented… customer. TBH with their history you probably wouldn’t be happy the 2nd time anyways. Considering they dont refund custom pieces by policy, youre lucky to get a refund and start fresh.

princessmiaofgenovia :  I really am sorry about your ring. But at least you were able to get your money back…make sure you demand a detailed invoice of your refund, the reason for the refund, and the expected date of funds availability…for, erm…legal purposes :/

princessmiaofgenovia :  I understand that MoCo has had some serious issues lately but it sounds like they have owned up to their mistake of giving you a low quality ring by refunding you completely. It sucks that your custom design didn’t work out but if they thought that they would not be able to “fix” the issues you had with the design, it was pretty decent of them to just refund you. Alternatively, they could have sacrificed quality and durability and sent you a new ring that you would also have issues with. They could have also “fixed” the issue without guaranteeing quality and take your money since they technically do not offer refunds on custom designs. Then you would be out a wearable ring AND $1000+.

I guess I just think this post is a little bandwagony. Everyone is hating on MoCo for a bit (not saying they don’t deserve it) and you’re jumping on the wagon despite having your issue fully resolved in the same way basically every other jewelry retailer would consider.

OMG!! That’s APPALLING custoner service! I hope Moissanite Co read these threads and know the reach of retelling stories like this. Moissanite Co – you need to address this problem!

princessmiaofgenovia :  I feel so sad for you! I could see the faults on this ring, it was very poorly executed but the design was lovely.

I am so sorry you’re dealing with this bee.  You had every right to a flawless ring AND to request that they correct their mistakes.  In spite of the catty comment above, you didn’t do a thing wrong to request that they fix your ring.

This is just another example of how shady MoCo is, and another warning for anyone considering buying a ring from them.

If you’re looking for a moissanite jeweler in the UK, have a look at https://lilyarkwright.com – I believe they use C&C moissanite, but they do bespoke work too ๐Ÿ™‚

Goirishgrl :  I never said she did anything wrong by requesting they fix her ring. I said a refund is better than an unwearable ring or a temporary fix that might have left her custom design fragile and eventually in the same condition it originally came to her as. If Moissanite Co did not feel like they could give her a durable ring in the design she wanted, a refund is the next best thing. Any custom jeweler would do the same if they could not provide what their customer wanted.
