my babies! Picked in July and setting process started mid-late July…So it could be another couple of weeks yet before my SO gets it and then I don’t know until he asks!

I stepped out after picking the stones and setting so haven’t seen / heard anything since this. 😩

I’m waiting for the ring and a proposal! Ring is ready in less than two weeks now and I know he is going to propose around the same time so I’m super excited. I’ve been in waiting for a year and it’s almost weird that it’s finally happening! My ring is going to be an oval halo in rose gold. It has been my dream ring for years tongue-out

Mine is supposed to be done at the end of the week and I have NO CHILL. I thought I was more mellow than this. No idea when he’s gonna ask either.

I am waiting!!!! And quite impatiently!!! My future fiance bought the ring 2 weeks ago and it should be ready within the next two weeks. I’m about to lose my mind from pure excitement so my boyfriend asked if I wanted to just see it when he picks it up because he won’t be able to propose until after he gets my parent’s blessing and we won’t be able to see them until October! I’m sure he won’t wait much longer after that because he’s excited too, but I really don’t know how to chill out and relax-I’m SOOOO Happy!!!

butternutter :  love asscher cuts, that is going to look stunning! Can’t wait for you to share so we can see!

I know my ring was delievered on July 6th, what’s the hold up?!?! It’s literally all I think about when we are home. I try my best to put it out of my head so I can let myself be surprised. Fellow Bee’s have been very helpful in keeping me sane, thank y’all!

To be fair, we recently got back from a mini-vacation in New Orleans and I thought for sure he would propose. Turns out he thought about doing it in New Orleans but because some of his friends also got engaged in New Orleans he didn’t want to copy them. I was disappointed but I think he made the right choice and understands me better than I give him credit for. Our timeline to get married is early 2020 so I suppose another month or two isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things. BUT STILL! Ha!

Here are the CADs for the ring I picked…

frenchtoastvegan :  lovely! Love the finer prongs – I have asked for single “talon” type prongs too

butternutter : I love the look of talon prongs on asschers! I almost went with a asscher & probably would’ve loved it if I got it, but so many choices! I am alittle nervous about the talon prong being bulky but the center stone is an OMC 9X7.5 moissy so I am thinking it will balance out.

I’m waiting! We picked out the ring in May and i accidentally saw a receipt for it at the end of June. I don’t know if he’s picked it up yet, as we did custom- I imagine he did.

Ours is a family heirloom diamond (round) that’s being re-set into a single halo (cushion cut). All yellow gold. No diamonds on the band.

Our timeline is to marry in 2020 so it’s not a big deal if he waits a bit longer to propose, but my guess is either our anniversary in October, or Christimas !

We got Sol447-f1 8.5mm in Rose Gold and the prongs in White Gold. Order was made on the 12th but we made some changes after.  It is supposed to ship in 12 days if it doesn’t take longer because of the changes.  Waiting is making me so anxious!!

elizabee17 :  I accidently saw the receipt too! That’s how I know it was delievered on July 6th. My SO also kind of told me too (that’s a long story). So torturous! Fingers crossed it’s October for you!

winencheese83 :  haha thank you! Can you explain that to my SO?! We had a friend over for dinner and said friend asked “when are you two getting married?!” and my SO said “the ring is here!” (I already knew that because I saw the receipt) so while we were getting ready for bed I asked him if it was pretty and if he liked it, and he said yes, which made me want to see it more! I am slightly nervous because it’s been so long since I finalized the design so my mind gets carried away. However, I do believe it will be worth the wait!

Chussein :  Thank you!! I love the classics like your ring too, it’s gonna be amazing when you get it! Rose gold is so pretty, I almost went with it too. There just too many choices.

Sorry this picture is so huge 🙃

I have been waiting 9 months so far and it’s killing me. I know it’s happening very soon and that makes me that much more inpatient! We found this setting at a local jewlery store and right when I tried it on I knew it was the ring I wanted. This is with a 1 carat center on a size 5 1/2 finger.
