I’m waiting for my 2.4 elongated cushion from Harro to be set into my 18kt yellow gold James allen solitaire setting. It’s been weeks (3) and I’m dying lol They had to re-do the head because they were satisfied with the QA check.

I just keep looking at everybody else’s pictures lol

Meee! Bah! SO picked my ring up from the jeweler on Aug 11th and I’m bouncing between absolutely dying of anticipation and nonchalance/denial lol. It’s a gorgeous .90ct cushion cut solitaire. I haven’t seen it in person yet. We picked it out together (online with a sales associate at a local jeweler) and he ordered it while I was there, they even contacted ME when it was ready. But he picked it up and asked if I wanted to see it once he had it. I said no because then I’d want to wear it right away and it would make me so much more anxious! I have no idea when he’ll ask or if he’s planning anything. I’m trying SO hard to not think about it!

Here are the renderings of it, I chose this setting because of how thin it is and because the band sits flush.

Love everyone’s rings here! I’m currently learning just how impatient I am as well. I know my ring is in the house and the anticipation is killing me!! Finding ring threads to distract me until it’s my turn to post!

sarahanne93 :  having it in your own house is the worst! I am in the same boat!

I was a little tipsy Friday night and made a comment about the ring and said “well it’s past 30 days and if it needs to be resized then we’ll have to pay for it”. Resizing was free within 30 days of receipt. He felt so bad that it made me feel bad. I don’t think it will need to be resized but OOF what a dope I am for being passive aggressive. My anxiousness got the best of me. I apologized and knowing him he’s long forgotten about it. Hopefully I can keep myself in check from here on out ๐Ÿ˜€

frenchtoastvegan :  Thank you! Yours is incredible, I cant wait to see it on you!! Every time I see the picture I get little butterflies. It honestly doesn’t seem real. Maybe because I haven’t seen it in person or maybe because I haven’t seen the box… I don’t know. But I get these moments of reality that are like this insane jolt of “this is real & happening” and then I go back to fairy land lol. I cant actually believe I’ll get to wear that ring… it’s going to be incredible! And THOSE are the thoughts I cant think or I get even more excited and impatient haha!

Charliejeorge :  I feel the same way! Besides the CADs I have no idea how it looks! I know I am going to love it but when you see all the pretty rings posted here, it makes me second guess myself. Hopefully you & I can celebrate soon!

frenchtoastvegan :  It’s pretty crazy, I never thought I’d be OK with buying something I hadn’t seen in person, but we didn’t have a ton of options since the jeweler couldnt bring settings in for me to see before purchasing. I second guess myself too, but then I see a bee with a 1.5mm band and I die over it, so I know I went with the right setting haha. Here’s hoping we can pop the champagne soon!! I’m really trying to focus on soaking up every last minute of being a girlfriend so I dont “miss” these moments!

Charliejeorge :  thank you!! That’s just the ring holder the jewler had when I picked out the diamond. I asked for just a plain yellow gold solitaire setting but I haven’t seen it yet! Will hopefully be able to add a picture with it on my hand very soon! ๐Ÿ˜

I am currently going insane waiting! My SO has had the ring since March (!!!) and I’m over here like hellooooo cough it up already! ๐Ÿ˜‚

We are going out for dinner Saturday to celebrate our three year anniversary so I’m hoping this will be it, not sure if he will propose on a day it could be expected though :/ I want to get married next fall so either way it has to be soon!

My ring is about a hundred years old and belonged to his grandmother, it is so gorgeous I can’t wait to be able to stare at it all day! ๐Ÿ˜
