I second the fact that it’s great the material doesn’t wrinkle. I got married in Mexico and had to travel on planes with my dress and on one of the flights I had to put it in the overhead. I didn’t even need to get it steamed before the wedding.

@thewheelsonthebus: I think we have the same dress! Except mine does not have the sleeves.

@SuperKate:  we do 🙂  Mrs. Earrings wore it, and I’ve seen a couple others on the ‘Bee with it.  I can’t believe how terrible the pictures of it on the David’s website are!  If it wasn’t for the reviews section of their site I would never have bothered even looking at it.

This is the chiffon dress my sister bought this past weekend. Not gonna lie, she rocks the dress even better than this model.

@Caizn:

One of my BMs is getting married in that dress later this summer. It’s gorgeous.

@7-9-11bride: If I wasn’t strictly a poofy skirt bride I would be SO mad I didn’t snatch this up first. Its insanely beautiful.

@Caizn:

I actually tried it on last fall. Although I loved it, it wasn’t what I wanted in a dress (you can see my dress at the start of the thread). I always wanted a corset back and a more fitted bodice. However I knew it’d be perfect for my Bridesmaid or Best Man. She had her appt at the same salon a few weeks later and I told her she would pick that one. She was skeptical but I guess I know her pretty well, lol.

@Ms. Sparkles: LOVE that dress, I almost bought it but was a bit beyond my budget and Fiance did not like it for some reason?!

Here’s mine with silk undeerneath and silk chiffon top layer:

I’m torn between a couple, but I love this chiffon one.  I’m not sure if its too summery for an October wedding.

This post is making me wish I had gone for a chiffon dress!  They all look so pretty.

@Ms. Sparkles:  I especially love yours!

@MrsTimmy:  I think you look awesome in your dress.  It’s beautiful and I love the soft feel it has.  I think if you love the dress then you can pull it off no matter what the season : )

I love chiffon, tooooooo. The top layer of my dress is silk chiffon (over silk satin? I’m embarassed to say I don’t know what kind of silk it’s over).

@MrsTimmy: Not too summery at all! The gathering on the bust is just beautiful.
