My e-ring is similar to yours just with a thinner band and I too feel like it’s really hard to pick something that doesn’t overpower it.

I was thinking about going with Nova from Brilliant Earth (where my ering is from.) It’s similar to the Tiffany Etoile, which I love, just at a price thats a little more attainable.

Phamnomenon:  I really like that ring. It reminds me of the “Schegge di Luna” (shards of moon) rings from Unoaerre, which is one of the main Italian wedding ring brands (lots of people here seem to go for a brand and this is the most popular at the moment). Actually it’s in their “anniversary” collection as most people just have a classic plain band for their actual wedding ring.

RiloKilee:  That’s beautiful! I love how it is both modern and classic and will look pretty worn alone too.

stefzbee:  Thanks! It’s a little over a carat – 1.08 and my finger is 5.75. I like the size a lot. Big enough to have a presence but not so big that it gets in the way and I feel unsafe wearing it.

In my husband’s culture women don’t normally wear engagement rings, they just wear plain platinum bands. I didn’t want an engagement ring, but I did want a diamond band, so this is what I chose. The metal is rose gold. It’s 2.5 mm wide, smaller than most here but I like dainty rings.

We just purchased our bands yesterday and picked them up today. Mine is an enhancer band/drop guard. I chose it because it looks like it was made for my heirloom solitaire. I absolutely love it. Here they are together:

I can’t wait to wear it!

Here’s what I’ll be wearing when I’m married.  I originally wanted a half eternity that would be a good width to wear without the e-ring, but all the ones that looked good alone (wider) didn’t sit well with my e-ring.

We decided to go with this thinner half eternity and Fiance said he’ll get me a birthday stacking ring to wear with wedding band.    Something maybe like this

I love my band because my husband chose this as my 1st anniversary gift, and it’s beautiful to me
