BEEelegant :  Your rings are beautiful! I’m hoping to be able to get a 30 pointer 5-stone band for a future anniversary, but your 40 pointers are drool-worthy!

summerrain123 :  thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

my husband did loads of research especially on old cuts as that’s what I love. He was going to buy a stone from America from jewels by grace as she has some corkers. He stumbled across this ring at an antique diamond dealer near his parents here in the uk when he went to check out  some others. He bought it for the centre stone with the plan to reset it into a plain solitaire as that’s what we’d decided on. Ended up falling for the whole antique ring so we never changed it.

Mine is a 2 ct center stone and I have a couple different wedding bands I like to wear, but here it is with my bead and eye band. I personally love the gap between rings, but I also have a plain band that curves with the basket of my ering, and I like that look too ๐Ÿ™‚ My fingers are size 4.25, for reference ๐Ÿ™‚

Grand rings.  Nothing says ‘married’  to me like a plain metal band. I know that’s old fashioned , but hey , we all have our own preferences  and idea. For instance I see a pp say she  has more than  than one wedding ring and interchanges them , which I don’t understand – unless   from a  a previous  marriage .

Or maybe she had two ceremonies, I didn’t  think of that!.

elderbee :  I don’t mind your “old fashioned” views as I’m “old” myself. Can you see it in my hand? I’ve always loved plain bands but have increased the width over the years to detract from my aging skin.

Btw, all of the rings here are so pretty. I do love the look of those simple solitaires on all your lovely hands. Gives me “hand envy.” LOL

hafh2016 :  effing beatuiful!

Same look, in moissanite. 2.5 ct fb. I love the setting, as it keeps the stone safer, as well as being kind of low. I have a same size garnet in a cathedral  setting and just had it in to get bent prongs fixed. It’s much more vulnerable.

That would be my only advice, get a setting that sits lower, if you plan to wear it all the time.
