Ours isn’t very pretty, but the price is right so that pretty much made the decision for us.  I’m hoping some decorations will make a big difference!

I knew straight away where I wanted our wedding. It’s somewhere quite different to the usual wedding venues in Ireland and I love the place. Food is amazing too. Sorry if the pics are huge, don’t know how to make them smaller.

I love our venue for its cotswold stone and english charm. Its rustic but clean and is exclusive.

Our venue is a victorian chapel and then a banquet room in a hotel.

we love the chapel and it has speical meaning to us as my grandmothers wishes are for us to be married there.

This is the recpt room- but its not set up for a wedding- this was how it was set when we were there:Chapel that we LOVE::

When my sister got married 4 years before me I had heard about this venue during her planning stages and it just always stuck with me. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but it was near our house so Darling Husband humored me and we went to check it out. We both fell in love when they started their presentation. The venue itself is eh, very blah, but the high tech reception area blew us away. We worked the numbers and made a new budget. Our guests loved our venue, and I’ve been told a few people gasped when they were led into the reception area.

Our wedding will take place at an antique salvage store that’s become quite popular on the blogs for weddings. It’s called Salvage One. Pictures dont do this quirky place justice, so here are some I found online:

Ceremony space with large pillars and antique church pews:

The reception area (mixed tables and chairs, lots of candles, sofas and antique furniture):

The lobby/entrance area:

I fell in love with this place online, and loved it even more in person. It’s an old cannery building in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s tourist-central, but it gives our guests from out of the state/country things to do and see, and the brick and exposed beams are gorgeous. Incredibly reasonable for what you get, too!

I love the ceremony space outdoors and the awesome view (Weather better cooperate!) 🙂  I also love that my venue will allow our pup to be part of our day!

We got married at DH’s family farmhouse.  It was all kinds of amazing.  When I first visited the house, I thought what a great place it would be for a wedding.  So when Darling Husband told his cousin we were engaged, and he said we could use the house, we didn’t think of using any other space.

We held the ceremony outside:

And had dinner in the barn.  We planned to hold the whole reception in the barn, but we got married during a heat wave, so we ended up having the dancing under the stars on the deck.  The barn empty:

And on our wedding day:

@love108:  It’s in Enfield, CT.  It’s $350 for the whole day on a Saturday, and it’s just the space so it gave us a lot of options for catering.
