What a good idea for a thread. It shows you don’t have to pay ridiculous amounts for a beautiful ring. Mine was $1500 CAN. It is now posted online as being $1700, probably because of the value of gold. I did change out the white gold shank to a platinum one for an additional $1000. So still under $3000! πŸ˜‰

0.75 ct tw, H/I, I1/I2, looks very white to me and I see no inclusions. The center stone is 0.3 ct and the diameter of the double halo is 10mm.

@slcall:  Both rings are gorgeous! I’m curious, which one do you wear most?

@MrsN14:  I’m loving everything that’s going on with your ring! The halo, the side feature, the split shank and the milgrain bezel band!!!! Amazing. And it’s amazing it was only $1,100!!! Bravo πŸ˜‰

@ashley99: That beautiful band will look so beautiful worn alone, just like your picture. πŸ™‚

My ring was originally about $4,800 but we paid $2,800.  Sale, yay!  1.5CT, 14K white gold.

@love108 Yay for estate/antique ring finds πŸ˜€ I absolutely agree, they are awesome!

My ring is an antique, purchased from an Etsy seller for $85 including shipping. 10k yellow gold, approx. 0.25 tcw was her estimate and I have no way of knowing for sure, and don’t really care. I adore it!

@prettyinpink11:  Oooh the pictures you posted are gorgeous! That’s about the size of diamond my Fiance was thinking of before I discovered moissy and i think it’s a great size! I played around on Blue Nile when I was waiting and found a pretty simple setting and 0.7ct stone could be under 2.5k so definitely check there too! I’m in the medical field and have found that even though my ring setting is a little high, the six prongs definitely help. And whenever I put on gloves (at least 6-7 times per day), I just use a size bigger on my left hand and turn my ring a bit and it works really well!

I’m not engaged yet, but this is my favorite ring I’ve seen… I have really small hands and I’m not really a “bling” type person… I want something small and shiny! It only costs $255, aand my boyfriend says it’s too cheap, so we’ll see!

I got mine 2 days ago and I’m super excited that we went with moissanite. I’ve even banged it really hard (NOT on purpose!) against an iron faucet and it has no marks, scratches or anything. Yay! Anywho… it’s a 1 carat round Forever Brilliant moissanite with a .18 diamond halo. Size 6.25 and we got it from Mark Andrews jewelers in Apex, NC. Best decision ever. Total cost was $1,585 and I got my dream ring!   πŸ™‚

My ring cost just over a grand. The center stone is a little over 0.4 carats but the total carat weight is 1. We got it from overstock.com. people always think we paid much more for it than we did.
