Hi bees 🙂
I am buying a strapless dress which I plan on adding some straps or cap sleeves to. I was hoping for some inspiration from those who have done the same thing! (Plus I always love a good dress thread). So show me the strapless dresses you converted to strap/sleeve dresses!

I need sleeves! So this is a good thread for me. 🙂

That’s what I’m doing to my dress. The designer made detachable cap sleeves. My dress should be coming in this month so I can post updated pictures soon!

Well all I can say is, every one of these dresses is enhanced by the additions ! Plus it makes the dress really yours .

I didn’t end up buyign this dress(although i LOVED it!!) but here it is. Originally it’s strapless! Sorry for the crappy pic quality though

This is from when I was trying the dress on, not the finished product. It was strapless but had a super long sash. The sash was long enough to make straps out of without detaching it from the dress.

I have spent all morning looking for straps to add on my strapless dress design. Your thread is perfect timing! I am thinking of add a single halter strap with a possible high wing collar to give the dress a more vintage look.

I only have the back view with and without, but I think the straps are beautiful and make is super special

So exciting, love what you added!
Wowww those draped pearls really transform the dress!
What a gorgeous dress. I tried on one very similar but it itched me around the top
Your dress is a bit like mine, I love soft floaty fabrics like this 🙂
That lace is gorgeous, I agree that the straps really add to the dress.
