I don’t have a picture of my bustle but it was an italian bustle so it basically made the train disappear completely.  I liked it more than the french or american for my dress because there was detailing that would be lost if i went with one of those. Gorgeous dress by the way.

People are probably sick of seeing my dress but it actually fits in this category.  I had two options and I went with the under bustle.  I like it better because it still allowed me to keep the shape of the dress.  Plus the under bustle allows the button or loops for the bustle to not interfere with the look of the back.  I dont have a pic with the train down but I can post a stock photo if you want.

I dont have a fit n flare, but my dress has the organza overlay similar to yours.

I am doing an austrian bustle, so that the details on the train will still be visible!

I also went with the underbustle. I loved the way it looked and that I didn’t have any hoops you could see on my dress when the train was down.

This isn’t me, but it is my dress. I’m going to bustle like this. I have no idea what it’s called. I HATE bustles, but I can actually tolerate this one:

@OnceUponATime:  That is actually a really nice bustle! How it looks bustled was a huge part in my deciding which dress to pick so I really appreciate it lol

@NJmeetsBX:  The Italian bustle is my favorite. I love that it doesn’t look bustled!

I had the same bustle made as @OnceUponATime…but when it came to actually bustling it my Maid/Matron of Honor (sister) didn’t pay enough attention and she couldn’t find the 2 connections on either side of the centre.  SO…..we just attached it at the center…which didn’t stay up very well.  That is why the seamstress suggested the 3 points due to the weight of the lace.  OH well!

@OnceUponATime:  what is an italian bustle and how to make it? I am curious as I don’t like the american or french much.
