jolex:  thanks!!!! I bought cases from hobby lobby when they were 50% off. The flowers came from both hobby lobby (only when they were 50% off) and also from dollar tree. I glued the flowers to a half styrofoam ball. I included some beads to put in the case and also a LED light at the bottom of the case as well…. Hope that helps!

pinkdandelion:  Aww.. thanks! I’m flattered! I actually designed the entire thing myself. I did a lot of research on types of stitches and embroidery I liked and planned it all out. I have experience with embroidery, though, so I knew what I was looking for. Some of the embroidery might be a little difficult if you’ve never done anything like it before.

I was actually inspired by a cross-stitch pattern I had done for my sister when she got married a few years ago. That can be found here: http://sweethearttree.com/cgi-bin/detail.pl?SE9

Hopefully that helps!! I’ve been meaning to put my pattern together in an easy-to-read format for others but haven’t gotten around to it.

We don’t have too many DIY projects just yet, but I absolutely love our table numbers! These are just the first two and Fiance has a picture of the other six on his phone. I was really worried about them but I’m SO pleased at how they turned out! Each number has a different colored paper backdrop.
