You all look beautiful in your wedding dresses!!! πŸ˜€

My dress journey was interesting, I’m not much a fan of dresses so I’m still uneasy about the one I chose. AT TIMES, that is… I think I’m 75% sure I picked the right one… not sure if you all can tell but I’m pretty indecisive…  This one I felt the best in πŸ™‚ Very pretty, just can’t really sit that easily! Ha, but I feel it’s the right one… aaaanywho here’s some of the dresses I tried on! πŸ™‚  and I look forward to seeing more of yours!
A Vera lace gown, wasn’t a fan of the straight top and the slanty rouching…

Next, this was just a plain no… :/

3rd… wasn’t a fan of the top and felt like something more fitted would be better

Now this dress had the neckline I thought I wanted BUT to me I think it made my top half look a bit bigger than I’d like lol … and wasn’t a huge fan ofthe lace and the sheer top layer too…

And then I had a moment at Davids with all my family there… and I wish this dress were at my house and not safely at my friends so I could put it on whenever I thought about not loving it! Because after going through this post I do really think it’s the one!
What do you all think? Should I stop those silly negative thoughts?

Yay! the white blingy sash will be replaced with a silver/grey blingy sash πŸ™‚

The first dress was a little more than I wanted to spend but I LOVED it… Mori Lee

I put this one on more than once in the appt it was beautiful but I wasn’t ready to say Yes

This is a custom gown

This was a sample that did not fit… so it was out, even though it was pretty

Terrible face in this one… I think it’s the first store I went to, the dress is beautiful but I wasn’t a big fan of the lace

This Mori Lee I tried on more than once… but it just didn’t cut it

This was at my second store, my bridal party loved it but I liked the next dress better… it had button flowing all down the back but I think I loved it because it was Champagne coloured which was different but I wanted White for my skin tone

This gorgeous Mori Lee was out of my comfort zone and though it definitely defined my curves I was in LOVE with wanting a ball gown.

This Stunning Mori Lee made me cry with my friends when I put it on!! It was almost the one!! However when I went to every wedding show they were wearing it so I worried that it would be the dress that everyone wore this year πŸ™ I wanted something a little more unique

The maggie soterro below was pretty, I love the top but I wanted a fuller skirt

The dress above did nothing special for me. The dress below with the black sash was gorgeous!!! Unfortunately I tried it on after I had tried on my Dream dress that was out of budget. So I didn’t fall in Love with it even though in the pictures it makes my figure look amazing!!!

After looking at photos and comparing I couldn’t get my mind off this dress with the black sash and how slimming it was

I am sure it would have been the ONE if I had not seen the other dress first

And here is my cinderella dress that I fell head over heels in LOVE with!!!!! THE lace, the beading the enormous train!!! I just glowed in it. I was IN LOVE!!! My dream cinderella dress was a Private Label by G gown.

But it was double my budget!!! ARGHHH!!!!

I don’t know the names of the dresses I tried on, nor did I even get pics of all of them, but here goes.

I started shopping and I knew what I wanted.   I saw it online and KNEW it was the dress, it was the first one I tried on.   I felt stupid getting the one and only dress I tried, so I tried more on.

I started with Adorae, unfortunately we forgot pics of that one, even though it looked fantastic on me  πŸ™‚

I wanted to try a few different styles, this one was lace, and really pretty on the mannequin, but a big fat no on me, lol

Next up, my consultant had me try this one on, she said it looked best on tiny girls like me.  It looked good but it didn’t wow us like the very first one had.  (Although it was only like, 3 or 4 sizes too big so it fit way better than the others did)

Then we had a few of these, I really liked this next one but it was soooooooooo heavy.   Also, discontinued, so if I had gotten it, I would have had to alter the size 12 sample down to a size 0. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no.

I tried on another dress in the same designer as the first one I LOVED, and it looked really good, it was probably my second choice.

But alas, I went back and got that first one, HOLY WOW.   I tried it on with my mother’s veil and awesome possum purple crinoline when I went back to the store for one last try before ordering.   I AM SO IN LOVE

Then there was the mia and the shear bodice made it a NO

This Mori Lee was ok but decided that I really didn’t like the halter…..NO

This Mori Lee was just OK…..nothing special….which made it a NO

And then ……” THE ONE” Here is the WINNER

AHHHH!!  I have so many pictures to post!!!  Sorry, none of them are me.  πŸ™

First Dress: David Tutera for Mon Cheri – Esta

Second Dress: Casablanca Fall 2009 – #1957 (ignore the hideous neck flower)

Third Dress: Tara Keely – #2206 (this was almost it, but I decided it was too forgettable)

Fourth Dress: Sottero & Midgley – Loretta

MY DRESS: Tara Keely – #2200 (Isn’t it gorgeous????  It has the same top as the Tara Keely 2206 above.  I’m also wearing that blingy belt instead of the flowery thing pictured below.  The bottom half of the dress is 3 tiers of horsehair tulle.  It’s sooo beautiful in person!  I love it!  It definitely has that dramatic “wow” factor!)

I knew I was a Casablance girl, so I tried on several Casablanca’s before finding the one for me. <3

This dress I was so looking forward to! I LOVED the Promo pictures, but when I tried it on I felt like it overwhelmed my frame and I looked like a little kid. It’s the Snow White gown by Alfred Angelo

On me:

But I did still LOVE the blossoms. I kept that in mind when I continued my search. I ended up choosing a beautiful Oleg Cassini gown (cwg377) that still had much blossom detailing, but fit my bodystyle much better!.

@malouloune:  Hey lovely!! you look gorgeous in both! Do you mind my asking your size? Because we are almost the same size I think. If I am lucky that we are, I could get the sample divina in blush that you tried on! I have no time to order one,so if you are anywhere between a size 6, 8 or 10 please give me the contact details of your salon. I live in the middle-east, so I’d have to sort my dress getting here in time.

I am an 8 (US sizing). A bigger or smaller dress can easily be altered.

Thanks for your time, xoxo
