I have had a long hard year at work, and on black Friday I impulse bought myself a reward on etsy — this sapphire and enamel ring from Holly Hague. It just arrived and I am so so pleased with it — unique, comfy to wear, art deco-y but modern — it is probably one of the nicest presents I’ve given myself.
What gifts have you given yourselves…and why? I’m a jewelery type of lady…but don’t let that limit your responses! All other self-rewards welcome, too 🙂
Now, a bunch of pictures–the sapphire is such a chameleon in different light.

These are two of my recent purchases. I work on covid projects and I’ve been getting extra bonuses and stock, so these are to reward myself for working around the clock. I’m also into jewelry and a bit up in the air for my next piece.

I legit need that ring! I bought myself a diamond for a significant birthday this year as my upgrade. I’m also having an 6 stone elongated emerald blue diamond ring made for my–all the PTO I didn’t use–bonus.

is that the sweet Alhambra in rose gold? If so, I purchased it for myself as well back in September. It’s been quite a year! Congrats on the lovely presents to yourself!

Bought myself these 2 bracelets for my 31st birthday. It’s been an interesting year so I wanted to have something to remind me about it.

I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder this past year, so this lucky Alhambra is a reminder that I can get through anything.
I purchased all of these diamond earrings on Etsy over the past six months. This is my daily set.

I’ve lost 3 close family members and I turned 50- the same age my mother was when she died. This year has sucked so I bought myself this yellow sapphire to cheer up

I got these 14k yellow gold moissanite bands – a 1.8mm bubble band and a 3mm 7-stone!

your ring is so beautiful! I’m a huge fan of enamel when it’s done cleanly like yours! On that note, I treated myself to a long admired Serpenti bracelet 🙂
Also bought matching mother-daughter Elsa Peretti open heart necklaces. I have the rose gold while my mom will get the sterling with the baby rose gold! I’m so excited for it to come in
wow the sweet alhambra necklace is super pretty! maybe a next year splurge for me 😀

Great gifts everyone. Feels nice to reward yourself once in a while after all that hard work.
Lovely presents, so pretty. I have the same exact WOC, twinning. Ordered the vintage Alhambra bracelet in YG this week for our upcoming fifth wedding anniversary.
Stunning choice with the Elsa Peretti open heart necklace, have been wearing one non-stop since the last year😍
Gorgeous set. I plan to stack the Van Cleef bracelet we ordered with my YG Juste Un Clou as well.

This is the most expensive gift/jewelry that I have. Had dreamt it since a kid lol.
It was 25% push present + 15% Bday present + 60% paid by myself as we have paid off our house loan yeayy!!!
Sometimes it makes me feel bad that DH didn’t buy anything expensive..

Fun thread! I changed my wedding set, reset my diamond and two new wedding bands. I made way more money this year due to COVID…Im the brand manager for a commercial cleaning company and was in charge of covid response disinfection, as you can imagine all businesses wanted to be disinfected so it was an insane year of commissions for me! Here’s my set which I’m sure you all have seen a million times but here it is again 😉

During the summer I treated myself to a bottle of Bilí, a liquor made in Vieques, Puerto Rico. It’s made from quenepas (the fruit behind the glass), rum, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon sticks, and fermented underground for a month.

Wow, that is so pretty!! I took a peek at her etsy page including sold items – she has some wonderful designs!
At the moment I’m getting my grandmother’s 14k gold watch made into a diamond bracelet! I don’t have a before photo, but the watch is similar to the one below except the watch face is smaller and square. (and it isn’t an Omega) I was going to sell it but the band is so cool – like pressed links but flexible. It also has a row of diamonds in the bezel above and below the watch face. They’ve popped out the watch and will set the opening with pavé. I can’t wait – this watch has been sitting in my jewlery box for 20+ years and I think the conversion is going to look beautiful!
