That’s a tough one!!  Mine was in the house for over a week and I knew it….I didn’t know where it was, and I didn’t look (because I didn’t want to ruin the surprise), but BOY, it was torturous!!  🙂

No waiting here – we were together when it was purchased, and then I’m the one who picked it up from the jeweler after it was sized and the center stone was mounted.

I hear ya!  My Fiance picked up my ring from the jewelers (while I waited in the car) and then took me out for dinner and an evening downtown with it in his pocket and me absolutely DYING wondering if/when he was going to do it that night.  I probably looked like I was on drugs or something.

@kansas_nurse:  I feel for you. Although I was terrible and went searching and found mine in the gun drawer (where he knows I would never have gone) and even tried it on and took pics the day before he asked! It was suspensful waiting! hahahaha. Good luck:)

It’s spelled Sméagol if you’re interested. I can’t imagine knowing that it was in the house, but not being able to see it. Mine was customized from a setting the store already had and it took five weeks. I agonized about how it was going to turn out. Luckily it turned out exactly as I had pictured.
