We got married secretly and without guest so we didn’t have any wedding cake. But I do love to look at beautiful wedding cakes!
Show me you actual wedding cake, your cake to be or just your dream wedding cake!

- Wedding: March 2015 - City Winery New York, NY
We had two cakes. One was sweet with three different flavored layers and the other was a cheese wheel cake! (Because I LOVE cheese.) We cut them both. It was fun!
Sweet cake (the top layer matches the embroidery on the bodice of my dress):

My fiance was going to video map a cake like this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u6T4D9ytoY
He has the demo software and has it mastered. He has been wanting to offer video mapping in his business services for quite sometime. Unfortunately, he’d have to have some sort of super computer built to be able to run all of his lighting, projection and DJ software off of it at once and that’s going to be megabucks that we just can’t afford at the present time. We have the wedding and are now looking to buy a house. It’s going to be an expensive year – even if the computer expense could be a tax write off.
So, with that said, we’ve settled on something similar to this. No dots between layers, though. Only the paisley piping. No flowers on top, either. We’ll have the below cake topper instead.

Sure, here’s what my cake looked like.

Currently in the process of brainstorming with the bakery we’ve chosen – we’re going for an out-of-the-box awesome cake that is going to look something like this:
Or maybe this:
The decorations are all modelled out of white and milk chocolate – still not decided yet on the flavors! 🙂
