I like the textures/color/feeling of Wtoo’s Olivia dress (in the color oatmeal, for sure!) but something isn’t quite hitting the nail on the head for me (besides it being a strapless/sweetheart dress, which I’m not totally into). I’m looking for inspiration to get a dress made, so it doesn’t matter if any dresses that come to your mind are older, or something needs to be changed about it, etc. It also doesn’t have to really look like this one or anything, this is just similar to what I meant by “woodland fairy princess.” ETA: magical/mystical/Arthurian feel works, too! Just something different from all the other stuff I’ve been seeing, I feel like I’ve seen the same dress OVER AND OVER.

Not sure if mine exactly fits the bill, but I kind of felt like a fairy princess in it!

@talia.teresa: Perhaps you’d like something by claire pettibone? A lot of her dresses have always felt a bit ‘nymph’ like to me 🙂

“Vintage-y woodland fairytale” is basically my theme, too.. I have my heart set on an Anna Campbell dress.

I think mine is pretty magical and reminds of something a fairy would wear.

Slightly different from fairy but is elf close enough?

Or Drew Barrymore’s dress in Ever After:

This is my dress, although I’ve asked for a sweetheart neckline instead.

If was having a Woodland/Fairy themed wedding and wanted a princess dress I would wear something like these.
Texture, romance, princess, elegant, dramtic and magical. <3

@afineskyline: I got that dress, aha, definitely textured. The flow of it is very “woodland-esque” too!
