Mine doesn’t have loads of detail but I do love the little peekaboo diamonds on the sides.

Check out CVB designs for inspiration, she has amazing stuff as well as all the other designers mentioned above! Happy hunting!

I had this bezel solitaire previously and liked the petal setting even though it was quite plain looking.

Not sure if mine is considered “intricate,” but I definitely think it’s got some cool details.

bibliophilacticbee : what a beautiful idea – it’s such a subtle but cute way to recognise him, as most (dare I say all) engagement rings are usually about her.

Here’s mine! I adore the little heart deatil on mine (but it traps dirt & grime on the underside of the diamond so it gets dirty very quickly!)

My solitaire isn’t super elaborate, but it has a pretty trellis style basket in 2 tone gold, which I love

raccoona :  I don’t generally care for white gold either (too cool) but you can always ask for them not to rhodium dip it, which leaves it a much warmer ivory tone instead of the stark silver white

marquiselover :  I’m seriously lusting after your marquise solitaire!!!  It’s got great proportions and is just so classic. My original set has a 1/2 ct. marquise center, but I’ve always felt it was overwhelmed by the baguette and round sidestones.
