Omg! All your dresses are so pretty. Some even have me thinking..omg did I buy the wrong dress?! Lol. Anyway this is my dress. I deleted all pics of me in it, I want the same feeling when I put it on again on my wedding day.

daisy452:  thats really pretty..I’ve never seen it before. I like the sheer because it’s just a little bit of your stomach, but I understand. I probably would add material too though lol.

aquabee:  I know, I have the same thought when I see all these lovely dresses! But I guess that just means there’s not one right dress — there are lots of beautiful options that would look amazing. The one you chose is gorgeous, btw!

Here is my dress, she’s an Eden Bridals BL 050. Feedback would be fantastic. I bought my dress off the rack so it did not come with the belt. I’m debating on adding one as I feel like it looks sort of plain.

Dress shopping was not my favorite thing. I’ll even go as far to say I hated dress shopping which was weird because I was so excited going in. I’m guess just worried I will look so boring. I’m very offbeat and people expect me to be over the top outrageous. Everyone keeps telling me they can’t wait to see what I’ll wear and its a lot of pressure. I went with a traditional white wedding dress in part for my father because it will make him happy and partly because I will literally never wear something like this again. I’m probably being silly so any opinions would be great as only a handful of people have seen my dress.

This isn’t me, but this is the dress I bought. I hit up the department stores after a day of very unfruitful bridal dress shopping. Each one felt like a communion dress, no matter what style or shade I tried!

I am adding a more traditional veil, so I will still look “bridal”.

Gosh, so many pretty dresses!

Mine is Sottero and Midgley Lovai. Way too big and I’m having the neckline altered to sweetheart and the back lowered, so I have to use some imagination but I love it and I knew it was the one :).

slomotion:  I think it’s gorgeous and I still think that while traditional, it has a little quirkiness and whimsy to it which sets it apart. I think white is a great choice since you’ll likely never wear a white gown again, but the details in the skirt make it quite unique. Honestly, you should rock this dress with confidence, it looks great on you. Not boring!

Am I too late to the party?! I have been obsessed with this gown since my older sister got engaged in the summer of 2013 – but then decided I hated it because the fabric appeared too shiny. Fast forward to trying on gowns and then the sylist brought in this gown and I flipped out: “Is this Allure 9155???!!” “I’m not sure…” my older sister who is standing in the room with me: “This is the gown you’ve talked about for the last two years.” And that was it. It’s always been this gown. ETA: Sorry for the quality of the photo – I’m not nearly as mousy in person!
