seAprilbride: I actually like the look of sizeable diamonds next to a solitaire. Visually it takes care of “finger coverage ” so the solitaire doesn’t have to do all the work. I find it to be a good trick to getting the most out of moderate carat weight solitaires. I think your ring looks lovely. I’d love to see it in clearer light with more details on specs.

ButterflyKisses13: beautiful stone and setting. Mines 0.59 4 prong solitaire but for some reason yours looks so much biggeR… Setting presents really nicely x

Yay, I get to play now too! After a lot of back and forth with handful of rings that never felt quite right for either of us, my husband and I finally picked out the perfect one! It’s a 0.63ct size 6 ring on a 5.5 finger (we are going to resize it soon but I don’t want to part with it yet). Sorry for the huge pics, I’m posting from my phone.

Hiya, I have a 0.42 marquise cut on a size H 1/2 finger.
It’s a UK size which I believe is size 4 in the US.
I think it looks perfect not too small but not too big either.

99bee: LOVE your pear! I had the exact opposite experience… Went in wanting a pear, but fell in love with an oval!
My .6 ct oval, cathedral set pave ring; size 5 finger.
