Here is my 14k rose gold… another thing to think about 18k is it’ll be softer which is why my jeweler recommended against it.  I will say I have seen 14k is various shades of pinky to more golden and I really didn’t want mine too pink so they found the right gold before making my ring… check out red gold too it is beautiful!

Be careful getting stuck on the “14k or 18k” track.  The colors of both actually vary a lot.  So there may actually be a 14k rose gold that you like.

dtb520 :  OMG I just realized your the bee who is my ring inspiration!!! I’m so sad you’re resetting it 🙁  I think your set is beautiful and have pinned a couple pictures for wedding band inspiration.  BUT if a different setting makes you happy I won’t be too mad lol.  Here is my 14K rose gold pave band e-ring:And I think she looks a little more yellowish here:

My ring is 14k rose gold but I find it to be more on the yellow side than the pink side. In certain lightings it looks very much yellow gold. I wouldn’t rule out 14k rose especially since it is stronger than 18k rose.

Mine is 14k, if that’s helpful at all! It looks a bit more pinkish in this photo than I would say it does overall in real life. This was in a forest without the brightest light – In most lighting it seems a tad more mellow, which I like

I wish I can see it in a darker hand for reference.

dtb520 :  aww thank you!  He did so good 🙂  I told him either rose gold or yellow gold, but in either case I specifically said I didn’t want white gold prongs.  I just love the pop of color.

dtb520 :  No worries! Partridge Jewellers in NZ. It’s a four prong oval version of this setting.
