2.5 carat FB moissy center stone on size 5 finger:

Btw, cut is an important attribute with diamonds, but so is clarity. I2 and I3, for instance, have inclusions that are visible to the naked eye. And that’s not the worst of it . . . They may also have internal fractures that compromise the integrity of the stone. On that basis, I wouldn’t agree that cut is THE most important of the 4 Cs, though it too should be taken into consideration.

EmeleeRose :  Why thank you! The stone, however, is now in L.A. awaiting a reset into a 3 mm palladium ring. The solitaire you see here is a self-set in stainless steel, which I later realized was not a very good idea. Plus having only four prongs was making me very nervous (only because I did it myself)! LOL

OP, i strongly suggest you go to Pricescope.com and get educated on diamonds.  The members there will be glad to help you make sense of all things diamond (the 4C’s just aren’t enough).

My 3.33 ct (9.8 mm) MRB.  Finger size 4.5 (ring 4.75).
