@the boss of you:  i told him last night, that i love it, but feel bad about how much it was, and its not too late to return it for a much smaller stone which id love just as much.. his responce “You are a princess. You are my princess.”which is his standard responce to any of my comments about how much he spoiles me. He is such a sweetie!

@LuckyDucky86:  Wowzers!!!! That thing has its own gravitational pull I’ll bet!! I’m interested in the prongs on that setting it appears as though the diamond is suspended inside instead of the prongs grasping them.

@Birdi:  We bought the diamond from a broker, and we ordered the setting direct from the manufacturer in China. These pics were taken minutes after we closed on the diamond. So yes, the diamond is suspended in the setting because it had not been set by a jeweler yet πŸ™‚ We are picking it up from a local jewler tonight and it should be set now, ill post a pic later πŸ™‚

@LuckyDucky86 Wow. I can only imagine how much that must have cost, enough to feed – or buy – a small country. The mind really boggles.

Thanks, your posts have helped me make the decision to leave Weddingbee forever. This is clearly not the place for me. So long and good luck!

I got caught up in the excitement, im going to be marring Prince Charming.  I’m sorry if you feel like this is not the place for you, because of my presence, and in no way was my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable πŸ™ I’m sorry.

@LuckyDucky86:  BEAUTIFUL!!! I have never seen a diamond that is more than 4 caret in real life (including in store), not even mention 8 caret!

well, I take it back. I saw the “hope diamond” before in museum πŸ™‚ but i don’t think that counts.Laughing That rock deserve a party for herself!

You hand is very pretty too, you can rock it. Do you know when/how he is going to ask the question?
