I will say this, we most certainly learned our lesson about insuring jewelry for the replacement value as opposed to the purchase price 🙁 I’m very thankful we chose to insure at any rate!
Do you have a picture of your e-ring? Will it be channel set for the halo and on the band? I’ve seen some really pretty combinations with those and eternity bands! I really do love the look of eternity bands, they just bug the sides of my fingers. At one point I was really interested in the marquise eternity bands – still catches my wandering eye 😉
You know, I appreciate your perspective on the ring gap – I get some really mixed reviews in my rings. But now I’m just going to say that it allows each ring a little more spotlight on their own. Lol
You’re getting soooo close to your date! Are you excited?!

I have a pic there of what my ring will look like (it’s still being made). 🙂 So it’s going to be a channel set Tacori-inspired ring and I want my wedding band to be a shared prong. I love the open, floating design of it! I also am not sure how comfortable they will be (we don’t have them where i live so I can’t try them on) and I want to be able to resize it so I was thinking of going for half eternity, about 9 stones. I want a little more coverage than just the top of my finger. Did you try 7 or 9 stones and what did you think about it comfortwise?
At first I automatically thought that I wanted the rings to sit flush, mainly becuse most people seem to think that that’s the way it should be but now when I’ve seen yours and other’s sets I actually don’t mind a little gap. I really do think you see more of each ring instead of them looking like one massive bling thing. 🙂
Yes, I guess it’s pretty soon. We’re planning on eloping in October but it still feels like ages away! I can’t wait! When did you tie the knot? 🙂
I love your ring! I think it’s beautiful and I really think the eternity band would compliment your ring! I didn’t try the 7 or 9 stone because I felt like the .20 pointers would give me plenty of finger coverage and we could keep the cost down. I’m really excited to see what you choose – I hope you find the one that makes your heart swoon 🤗
How wonderful! Where are you eloping? We were very much considering eloping as well but we ended up keeping it under 20 people so it was still very small. We are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Cinco De Mayo!!! So soon!!!
Thank you! I love it too! I couldn’t be happier! 😀 I got a quote from DK for a 9 stone 10-pointer band and it was significantly more and I love both 8 and 10 so I think I’ll go with 8 to save some money. 🙂 I’m sure I would swoon if I actually saw the ring for real haha.
We’re planning to elope to Seychelles. It’s always been my dream to go there! It’s very expensive so we’ll see if it fits in our budget. When we get back we’re going to have a wedding reception so we get the best from both worlds. I like intimate weddings but I’m not sure we can do it. We have a hard time excluding family so it’ll maybe be pretty big after all. That’s fantastic! What are your plans for the anniversary? 🙂
I have a 1 1/2 carat 7.5mm round with 5 stone that has 35pointers.
I wear 5 stone on my right hand, but together they are blingtasticly delicious!!!
