aaliyah: Here is my idea! I have no idea what the individual stones are because they seem to go from smaller to larger, but the final CTW is .50. We are waiting to hear back from a local jeweler if they will do it for the same price as the box store I found it in.

aaliyah :

I will say this, we most certainly learned our lesson about insuring jewelry for the replacement value as opposed to the purchase price πŸ™ I’m very thankful we chose to insure at any rate!

Do you have a picture of your e-ring? Will it be channel set for the halo and on the band? I’ve seen some really pretty combinations with those and eternity bands! I really do love the look of eternity bands, they just bug the sides of my fingers. At one point I was really interested in the marquise eternity bands – still catches my wandering eye πŸ˜‰

You know, I appreciate your perspective on the ring gap – I get some really mixed reviews in my rings. But now I’m just going to say that it allows each ring a little more spotlight on their own. Lol

You’re getting soooo close to your date! Are you excited?!

rosegoldbee2017 :  thank you! Yes, they are 4 prongs. I’m not familiar about the size but i was told by the jeweler that they are 10 pointers each. I don’t know what that means. πŸ˜‚

aaliyah :  Ok! So good questions! The ring I originally purchased was appraised for a replacement value that was more than the purchase price. When we filed a claim with our insurance company, they came back and said the only comparable replacement diamond they could find was 8k MORE than our original purchase price! So we took the payout and the prices of diamonds had gone way up by then 😧 So that is why you need to get it appraised and if it’s higher than the purchase price, insure it for the appraisal amount!

I love your ring! I think it’s beautiful and I really think the eternity band would compliment your ring! I didn’t try the 7 or 9 stone because I felt like the .20 pointers would give me plenty of finger coverage and we could keep the cost down. I’m really excited to see what you choose – I hope you find the one that makes your heart swoon πŸ€—

How wonderful! Where are you eloping? We were very much considering eloping as well but we ended up keeping it under 20 people so it was still very small. We are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Cinco De Mayo!!! So soon!!!
