I have a .46 ct center stone. I think your ring is beautiful and everyone else is just jealous. A lot of people will say rude or mean things. You just have to ignore them.

I love all these .5 and under rings. They are so gorgeous!

My centre stone is just under .5

Jennilee215:  There is no such thing as too small, or too large.  Diamonds, mossiys, plain bands, tattooed rings, what have you are ALL signs of a beautiful commitment.  Anybody who tells you the ring is too small or your fiance must not love you because he didnt get you a bigger rock has no idea what a healthy relationship is.

I have no clue what the weight of mine is (somewhere between .3 and .5 I tink) but it is absolutely perfect.  It’s my FMILs diamond, in a new setting.  The amount of love I wear on my hand is wonderfully, beautifully heavy and not carat weight would ever come anywhere close to comparing.

If anybody ever says anything about my small diamond I will reply with a straightforward “It’s rude to insinuate that a person’s engagement ring is not good enough, for any reason.  Learn manners.”

Here my girl is.  I wish I could figure out how to resize pictures.  This is huge.  Anyway, You’re ring is GORGEOUS, as are all the rings!

My center stone is .5ct. Tcw is 1ct. I love it. I also have tiny fingers (4.25) so it looks bigger than it is.

I don’t have very good signal where I’m at so I can’t upload a pic. But I will when I get home. Yours is beautiful!

I don’t have it yet – hopefully within the next few days! My Boyfriend or Best Friend has always known that I want my grandmothers .5 carat stone put in an engagement ring, (since I lost both my mother and grandmother at a young age). We went browsing and found a setting that I absolutely fell in love with! He’s been hinting for the last few days that he wants to get the specific ring I wanted, and will ask my father for the stone. Here’s a picture of the setting, but im not sure what size carat is in the center.

Hopefully will be updating soon with a picture on my finger and a .5 center!

LAX03:  aw thanks!! I really appreciate it. I had never seen a double halo before he proposed and I’ve still never seen another in real life so I can get a little insecure about it sometimes…thanks for the sweet comment!

I know mine’s under .5 carat but I have NO IDEA how many it is exactly….I doubt it’s even 1 carat lol.  One really interesting conversation I had when I got my ring was a coworker grabbed my hand to see the ring and goes “oh wow!  It’s awfully small though…but that’s all he could probably afford huh?”  then gave me a sympathetic look.  My mouth was on the floor as were my 2 bosses’ lol.  I love my ring: simple and classic 🙂

Everyone’s rings are so beautiful! Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a 1ct or 2ct ring, but I love how sparkly mine is. I am constantly taking pictures of it and admiring it, even after wearing it for six months. Mine is a .5 ct center stone halo. Here’s mine 🙂

I thought .5 carat would be small, too. I’m 5’11 with a size 7 finger and I love my rings. Simple and clean.
