I am usually between an 8.5 and a 9.  My e-ring is a size nine with a .58 alexandrite.  I think it is perfect.  It is a smaller band, but it looks very delicate and beautiful!  The band is smaller, but its a little thicker so it won’t bend.  When I wear my wedding band, it won’t feel like my finger is covered, which is a big plus for me since I don’t like that.  Its a ring like the ones I thought about when I was younger. I’m a 7.5 and I always thought a fat band would look better on me… boy was I wrong. Even now, my band isn’t that wide but I think about changing the setting to a thinner band (anniversary upgrade??), mostly because my fingers are so short.

I have a size 7-7.5 finger. The center stong is 3/4 carat, total weight of 1.25 carats (without the wedding band, 1.75 with the band). I absolutely love it and can’t stop staring at it! I can’t wait until we are married so I can wear the wedding band! ๐Ÿ™‚

My ring is a size 7.5, but it’s a tad loose. I believe the center is about 3/4 carat, but I’m not positive.

I too didn’t realize I had “big” fingers until I got on wedding bee… I was really shocked to see so many people had size 3-6 fingers! I’m a size 7, maybe a smidgen smaller on really cold days. I don’t know the carat size of my ring- it’s a pink amethyst. It’s about 8X10 mm.

I wear a size 7.5-8. My ering is a custom desgined three-stone set in a yellow gold twisted pave band. The center is a .75 carat lazare and the sides are each .5 carats. The great thing about three-stone or halo style rings is even with smaller diamonds they can “fill out” larger hands. I was afraid my hand would dwarf a smaller diamond. Also, I have noticed that higher quality diamonds (excellent cut and color) can make the stones look bigger as they reflect more light. My friend has a 1 carat poorly cut solitaire and our diamonds looked the same size. She was shocked when I told her it was a .75. We held them up and the difference was barely noticible.
