Beautiful Ring! I have a 7.5mm antique cut cushion solitaire on a 4.75 finger and I personally wouldn’t go any bigger. I absolutely love my ring but in all honesty, if I were to pick all over again, I think I might have gone with a 7mm. If you love it, and will be comfortable rocking such a big centerstone, then by all means do it but if you are going to be self conscious about it or what others may think then go smaller.

bquakkel :  Have you tried on this size stone in person? Have you also factored in the wedding band? My band added a whole lot of bling to the set which is never a bad thing haha but it’s something to consider. I’ve had my e ring over a year now and have had 1-2 negative comments about it regarding wether it was “real” or not to which I either ignore them or tell them it’s moissanite. At the end of the day, if you think you may regret going smaller, then go for it! 7.5mm vs 8mm is not far off so your finger coverage should be very similiar to mine.

2.03 carats (~7.5mm I believe), cushion, triple excellent, VS2, F color. Finger is a size 5 although the ring was still at a 5.5 when I took these photos. I’ve only been engaged about 6 weeks but I definitely don’t find it too big…go for it!

My cushion cut in a halo 😇 it is a elongated cushion. The one you are looking at is beautiful.
