Yay, non-traditional rings thar are ACUTALLY non-traditional! I feel like I see a lot of posts asking for unusual rings and see girls posting like, “Here’s my 1 carat diamond halo!” These are all fab.

Here’s mine – 10 stone cluster with center sapphire and surrounded by other sapphires, emerald, topaz, and diamond.

This is my engagement ring. My fiancé and I had it custom made to be similar to a Claddagh ring since his family is Irish and we loved the symbolism and meaning they carry. My ring features and man and woman holding the center stone to symbolize man and wife. And the top “crown” has 2 peridots (my birthstone) and a center emerald (his birthstone). We are both very proud of the ring and cherish the sentimentality behind it. We hope it will one day become a family heirloom.

daisyroo :  Youur ring made me stop in my tracks! I’m a huge SG fan. In fact, my FH and I were talking before we got together and I told him that. His response…”I love you!”.  Hahaha  What kind of stones? I think Garnet, he says amethyst?  Thank you for sharing!

I don’t think a lot of strangers know mine is an engagement ring. I also got some really weird comments about it from people in my life in the beginning. It is quite large for my  social circle. I love it so much. It’s the perfect ring for me. 💕

adriannamonet :  I get that a lot too with my ring. A lot of people think its just a fashion piece because my center diamond is a salt and pepper instead of a clear or “perfect” diamond.
