Thought I’d check to see if anyone had posted cos I would love to see some too!

I know there was a bee with a certain brand or type of moissanite that I can’t remember just now. But she said she stopped posting pictures of it which is a shame. I can’t for the life of me think what brand or type of moissanite it was either 🙂

I  just did an aquamarine in an Asscher that could be repeated in moissanite.  There was a pretty one that was kite shaped at one time from Moco that I used to see.  There are so many ways to set an Asscher cut. I think C&C actually does some decent step cuts in moissanite.  I wouldn’t rule out gemstones or lab gemstones either because they look like pools of water in certain shades.

Not an asscher but figured I’d share my step cut… mine’s a 6.5×5.5mm emerald cut moissanite (1.25ct equivalent) from August Vintage. He cuts his moissys to mimic diamond optics.  I couldn’t be happier with it.  Mine is beautiful, sparkly, and I see very little double refraction.  If you like the “disco-ball” properites of moissy you may want to stick with a non-step cut but if you’re looking for most diamond-like you’ll probably love the asscher!

AV seems to be considered top of the line for moissy quality and cut.  Prices reflect this but still much less than diamond counterparts, and the customer service was top notch for us.  Absolutely no regrets about choosing a moissanite.
