Well, I went vegan for 1 year!! The picture to the right was taken 6 months after going vegan, so I need to update because I’m more toned now! I’ve been vegetarian for a long time, but it wasn’t until I gave up all the cream/dairy/wheat/fish did I loose weight..I wasn’t working out due to being so busy with school (taking 6+ classes). All this weight came off without workign out. Total amount lost is 25lbs!! Before I weight over 165, now I was 140! I’m 5’7.5.

@Romantigua ~ Thank you! It was so easy to lose 25 lbs, as if it melted off. Obviously I was eating too much cream stuff! I didn’t even want to show you all the front view before lol ;P It’s a MAJOR difference from the front!

Amazing ladies! Such awesome differences!
I didn’t lose weight before the wedding, but after the wedding I found a very motivating reason to lose weight. My weight (and eating habits) had thrown my hormones into a tailspin and because my husband and I want a child, it became very very important to me to lose weight so that I could get my hormones back on track. Since my wedding in October of 2010, I’ve lost over 60 pounds! I lost most of it within a 6 month time period (between August 2011 and January 2012), but it took me a bit to think of putting on my wedding dress again to see the differences! I tried to get similar poses:

I changed my diet completely. I found out through our ttc journey that my hormone issues were caused by pcos and that I had insulin resistance, so I cut out almost all processed sugar, cut down my portion sizes, cut waaaaay down on simple carbs, and started exercising.

I also have to brag about my amazing husband who has lost over 50 pounds in the same amount of time. It’s a bit harder to see the difference with him (at least in his suit) but on our wedding day, his suit was tight and he didn’t button the bottom button because it was a bit uncomfortable for him.

In the last pic I had him hold the jacket so you could see that not only could he close it easily, but that it’s inches too big for him now! In person, the pants are very baggy and you can see that they now pool around his feet!
He lost the weight in support of me by cutting out snacks and soda pop. I’m so proud of him and I just think he looks amazing! ๐

This is me at around 160 (my heaviest weight).

And this is me at around 140 in the same outfit. I lost 20 ponds for the wedding!

I really love these types of photos, such motivation!
I’ve lost 35lbs since last August (way before engagement) but it feels like I’m not losing anything since I stopped being able to run due to developing piriformis syndrome. I’m hoping it’ll clear up by June because I’d love to lose at least 50 more lbs (ok 60 but that’s a lofty goal).

The first one is early July (right before I started) the second is from mid Feb. – I’ve been stuck at this weight since! BLERG!

Okay, so I don’t usually do this. But here goes.. I’ve been living Weight Watchers since January 2011 and I’ve lost 120 pounds. My before picture is of me in London weighing in somewhere around 315 or so. My after picture is of me in February 2012 right at 200. I’ve lost more since then. I’m still working my way down to a healthy weight. But most days I love the new me. Sorry the after picture isn’t that great and it’s so big, but it’s all I have at the moment. I went from a size 26/28 in women’s to a size 14, sometimes 16 misses. It’s a great feeling. I know that to most I am still really overweight, but considering where I started, I’m feeling really, really good. I can finally say that I’m overweight, not morbidly obese.

Sorry the second picture is so big.. I have NO idea how to resize it.
