Those measurments seem off for a 1 ct oval. I have a 1.21 ct oval, and it is a little bigger than 8×6 mm. It’s on a 5.5 finger with a 1.8 mm band.

Those measurements are way off. Here’s my 8×6 1.5ct with an airline halo compared to an 8.5×6.75 tight halo. Size 7 hands please excuse the dirty nails, had just been gardening

I also have size 8 fingers- this is a 2.5 equivalent center stone (morganite).

My ring is a size 9 but my finger has shrunk down to an 8 since getting engaged. My stone is 9×7 mm which they say is about a 2.2 ct equivalent.

Sorry I don’t have a photo to share but I have the same finger/hand size as you. My 1ct round looks great on my finger but I found that I definitely needed to size up for ovals. I would say a 2-2.5 ct would look perfect on your finger size and shape. If you are seriously considering a 7+ ct, I strongly suggest you try one on first before going through the hassle of ordering. Moissanites also tend to look a bit glassy the bigger they get and 7cts is huge!
