Love my Blue Nile ring! I had no problems, other than deciding! I loved their live chat feature, I have this thing where I HATE to call places for anything. They also have really helpful diamond education on their page, which made it really easy to choose which diamond to buy for my setting. They also offer a free plastic ring sizer, and for  15 bucks you can rush ship it. All I have is my Iphone for pictures, which obviously don’t do it justice.

Yeah, I’d love to see them also. I’m a daily Blue Nile stalker. I love checking out the Recently Purchased Engagement Rings section Tongue Out

@octohands:  That is GORGEOUS!  Love it!

I have a Blue Nile ring too, and I couldn’t be happier with it:

It is the petite pave cathedral setting – I love how thin the band is ๐Ÿ™‚

And with my wedding ring:

Darling Husband bought my ring from Blue Nile.  He couldn’t be happier with their service.  He wanted a cushion with certain specs and they found it for him.  I have a cushion cut on a low setting in white gold.  <-  I prefer lower settings so it doesn’t snag on things.

@octohands:  Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

@mnp:  So pretty!  I need to take some pictures with something better than my old iphone so I can get a shot like that – love being able to see all the clarity and facets ๐Ÿ™‚

@sarahbabs:  Thank you!  It took many, many shots and different lighting to get one decent one on my camera. lol

We bought our diamonds from blue nile, but got the settings elsewhere.   I can not speak highly enough about their service. The diamonds are gorgous.

We did use the financing option.

@jep109:  We haven’t bought an e-ring from Blue Nile, but I do have other jewelry from there. Their customer service is fantastic. I’ve sent a zillion emails to them and I always get prompt, thorough responses.

Price-wise you can’t do too much better than them. They’re the world’s largest buyer of diamonds so they get them really cheap and you can get close to wholesale prices. I have done a lot of comparison shopping and research, and I have yet to see a brick and mortar shop come close to the prices they offer. They have no overhead because it’s web-based, so that translates into lower prices.

They also have a great return policy, so that might help your bf out.

I agree with throughthebarricades,  their prices are great.   I browsed a few websites (jamesallen, white flash, etc) and visited a few b&m shops.   For the diamonds I was looking at, the other websites were usually between $100-$200 higher and the b&m shops were $1000-2000 higher.

There return policy is amazing. Because you cant see the diamond you are purchasing, I ended up buying five diamonds and chose the two best out of the group.  I had no problems at all returning the diamonds.

I’ll come back and post mine when I get it, but my SO recently purchased the stone and setting from them and loved their customer service. If you have any questions about a stone (e.g. making sure an SI1 is eye clean), live chat chat is great and they are prompt with email follow-ups to conversations. They are also a better deal than all other places we looked, e.g. James Allen, Whiteflash, brick and mortar stores. Basically, we’re happy with our decision to go with them!

For Canadian bees – there are no duties, free shipping (>$200), and provincial taxes are added at purchase.

I’m a Canadian bee who ordered from Blue Nile as well… The customer service is outstanding! Never had to wait more than 24 hours to get a response from them. The ring is on its way!! I will for sure update with pictures when it gets here, and SO pops the question! ๐Ÿ™‚
