Loved my flowers/bouquet! We were married in the fall so I wanted reds/oranges to really pop! We also used these same flowers to diy centerpieces in carved out pumpkins.

Honestly, a friend is a florist and made mine for me so I don’t know the names of all the flowers in it, but I adored my bouquet. I know for sure there were snapdragons (it was a bad year for flowers, I had a few special requests but the snapdragons were the only ones that were available), there were mums, and some seeded eucalyptis. Some roses of some kind as well i believe, but I don’t remember what the purple flowers are, or the tiny white ones.

The first pic shows the shape better, while the second pic shows off the colours!

Mine was orange gerbera daisies, succulents (3 or 4 varieties), waxflower for filler and grass loops.  Plus a lizard, for good luck, I guess.  I rooted the succulents in a nice pot.  They’re mostly doing quite well and it’s a good way to preserve the bouquet without having old flowers laying around.  Downside: Gerberas do not like being without water for several hours and get droopy.  This was especially apparent on the corsages.

lunablu22:  I made my bridal bouquet, as well as my Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet with a collection of flowers I bought from Michaels. Sorry, I don’t really know the names of every flower I used because I just selected what I liked based on my wedding color theme. I will be making another Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet within the next week or so. I’ll try to remember the name of the flowers I select and post it to this thread. The first pic in my bridal collage is how it started out before my creative juices started flowing. HaHa
