My bouquet was one of my favorite parts of our wedding! Our florist nailed it with fresh flowers and managed to get peonies (which was apparently super difficult this year because of winter weather). I told my husband for our one year anniversary I’d love a replica of it so I can enjoy it all over again ๐Ÿ™‚

We were married outside overlooking a mountain and my bridesmaids wore navy, which set off the colors perfectly!

I really want an herbal boquet, but I’ve never been much of a follower girl. Fiance keeps bringing them to the house and it’s sweet, but they sit around slowly dying. I said that to a florist at the bridal show Saturday and she responded with “we’re all dying”. Yeah, but maybe I don’t like thinking about our mortality lol.

In any case, the cut herbs idea is definitely more me. I live the smell.of fresh herbs and we could at least use the herbs for cooking after the wedding lol. Here’s my inspiration pic:

If I included any flowers, they would be bluebonnets, that’s what we are doing in the centerpeices.

Here’s some silk ones I found at a party planning store. They also had preassembled bouquets for less than $10.

Ladies I am getting some serious bouquet fever! All of yours are just beautiful and unique – I’m loving the variety of mediums… Wood, silk, herbs, cotton, mixed. Such beauty in all of them.

Our wedding is in June, but here is some inspo bouquets! As it’ll be winter, we opted for warm, moody and darker arrangements with pops of light so it’s not too overpowering. I adore dahlias and peonies, but I may be pushing my luck for dahlias in winter, so I’ve left it up to my trusty florist to find an alternative.

I DIY’d my bouquet from faux flowers, I wanted to be able to keep it forever. Also, I hate the idea of cutting flowers just to show them off and then let them die. All of the flowers in my wedding were actually planted, for this reason.

I used the “real-touch” flowers from Hobby Lobby, I would buy them when the flowers were on the 50% off sales, which is roughly every other week. I LOVE my bouquet, it looks exactly the same 2 years later, and it looked incredibly real to me. Also? My husband helped me put it together, and he was so proud that he “made” something. It makes me smile whenever I look at it, and it lives on my nightstand.

Ooh I never knew there was a thread for this! You all have such breathtaking bouquets! I’ll be getting married in 44 days and my bouquet is done! Mines a bit different. Books are one of the great loves of my life. I was actually able to send our favorite books to ab artist and she she hand folded each flower out of the book pages! My mom will be wearing a rose corsage made of our favorite book we’ve read together, Jane Eyre. My FH has a calla lilly boutineer made of our his favorite Harry Potter book Prisoner of Azkaban, and my Maid/Matron of Honor is carrying a single calla lilly made of my favorite book Pride and Prejudice. My bouquet is a waterfall mixture of calla lillies and forrest green suede roses made of a little of each of all of those books. The handle is made with three types of vintage lace we picked out together. They are so so special and dear to my heart. Here’s a picture of mine ๐Ÿ™‚

I told my Florist to just do whatever she wanted as we became good friends and she understood my style. I’m actually glad I didn’t have any expectations to my perfect bouquet.
