I’m trying to get organised with my bridesmaid gifts, and I’m stumped. Budget-wise, we can’t afford much. And I’ve spent the whole planning process aware that being a bridesmaid is putting them to a lot of trouble and expense, what with travel and the dress and the hen night, it’s put them out quite a bit… So I really want to get them something that will be worth it, although the budget is tight.
On the one hand, I understand it’s pretty traditional to get an item of jewellery for them, usually matching ones. I’ve already bought them hairbands to wear on the day (these: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/110944050/oak-leaf-headband-autumn-fall-hair ) which I’m not counting, but I was contemplating a bracelet like this:
But I’m a bit nervous about choosing jewellery because the last time I tried to buy jewellery for Future Sister-In-Law, she didn’t like it and so I’m worried I’ll get it wrong again, and it will be a rubbish present for all they’ve had to do. I don’t trust my judgement so much!
Alternatively, we could get everyone something different for their tastes, within the same budget, but would that look bad? Like get Future Sister-In-Law a set of soaps from LUSH, which she loves, etc. etc.
What did you guys get your bridesmaids? And groomsmen as well, because we’re stumped for them too! I’d love some suggestions.
