juneweddingbee :  I would forego the rhinestone applique! Especially on a beautiful Ted Baker! Do you think they’re too plain? Bc remember they’ll be holding flowers!!

paperbones :  they did look a bit plain to me. And in all fairness that picture doesn’t show of how beautiful they really look with the appliques. Also the appliques really tie everything together as there is an applique on my dress and beading round the waist on my mum’s dress.

Here is mine. My bridesmaids have a range of sizes and budgets so I chose a dress from ModCloth.

I got my bridesmaids’ dresses from Chi Chi London. My girls were all different sizes (plus I was trying to find something appropriate for my 14 year old sister to also wear) and I actually think that the dress looked great on all of them.

juneweddingbee :

What a beautiful dress. Are the  cutouts at the sides of the waist ?  I like your  lace fill in idea,  but if I might say so I  really don’t like that sparkly   thing on the front , those dresses are not enhanced by it , their appeal is all in the great cut and style .

Oh how nice they all looked, the very essence of Spring/Summer…

elderbee :  yes the cut outs are on the side of the waist. And in all fairness the picture doesn’t show of the sparkly appliques too well. But they look stunning in real life and it just ties everthing in with my dress and my mum’s dress (who is walking me down the aisle).

Always knew even before I got engaged I wanted the wisteria color for my bridesmaids!  When I started actually looking, ended up choosing this one which actually complements my dress with the illusion neckline!

elderbee :  Thank you! We had a very early summer wedding, so I definitely think that the dresses worked well for the time of year. All my ‘maids were beautiful!!

Here are two of mine so far! The third hasn’t picked her dress yet but we are going with mismatched dresses from Azazie in Dark Green for our mid- November wedding.
