I only have an Maid/Matron of Honor and she is my sister. I’m trying to think of a creative gift to give her – something personalized. Can you share what idea’s you’ve come up with?

I had my sister and SIL in my wedding. I bought them necklaces from etsy that have all of our birthstones on them.
Mine aren’t really ‘personal’, but no one in my bridal party has been in a wedding yet, so they won’t really know haha. I bought them each a different clutch, and then all the same bracelet since they’re wearing mismatched dresses.
@ceamoste: Oh my! THOSE ARE SO DARLING!!! Lucky bridesmaids, you have!! Are you requesting they wear the bracelet with their dresses on the wedding day? So pretty!
@LadyCheri: I am! Just so that there’s something to pull the look together – plus I know some of the girls picked dresses that are a little plain and don’t really like to wear jewellery, but I’d like some bling action haha.
@LadyCheri: I am planning to do birth stone necklaces as well! I’m going to try to pick a design for each one that match the personality of the girl (like one likes retro things, one likes renaissance things, one likes modern things).
@ceamoste: Good call. I adore bling. I wanted so much for myself, it started to look a bit tacky. haha. Thank goodness for honest family members at my fitting – but can you really ever have enough?
@Keltaena: I’ve never used Etsy before – I do love the stuff that is on there. What’s your experience with them?
@LadyCheri: I’ve had only good experiences. Every seller is different though! There are a lot of nice, creative folk on there, though.
@LadyCheri: I’ve used etsy alot over a little over a year -I’ve purchased personal items, christmas/birthday gifts for friends, things for babies, and of course wedding things.
I have yet to have a bad experience we a seller there.
A few tips -i always check the feedback and settle for nothing less than 100%
-always check the seller history -I usually don’t buy from sellers with only a few transactions
-write the seller several times
-search the bee for seller feedback!
RedEnvelope.com makes some great personalized gifts, especially if you are on a budget and want something small.
I think a personalized purse mirror is a great idea, whether alone or as part of a gift bag — and will be perfect for touching up make-up on the big day! At only $29.95 it won’t break the bank.
This journal is for FI’s sister who is going to be a sophomore in college this year. It will be personalized

My Maid/Matron of Honor is pregnant and an avid reader so I’m giving her some classic cloth bound books to add to her collection, there are numerous titles so I haven’t decided which ones yet exactly.
@ceamoste: Where did you get those bracelets?? I love them!!
@Mrs. Fireworks: Thanks for the idea! They seem to have some really neat stuff!
