beebunny :  Thanks so much, I just loved the clean simple lines of the Elodie. I’m thinking I’d like to add some contrast with my wedding band though – probably something thicker and with some sparkle. Definitely gold though. Did you have any ideas for your own set?

miumui :  Aah, thank you! It’s an 8 x 6 super premium moissanite from BE. My finger is a 4.5 so although in real life I think it’s the perfect size, for some reason this picture makes it seem huge and a little more grey toned than It actually is.

midas :  i did notice they Have a super premium range. Would you know the difference? And yours would be a colorless?

miumui :  I’m not entirely sure, my fiancé picked it as he was worried about the warmth from the yellow gold coming through. It’s definitely a beautiful bright white in most lights but still has those amazing flashes of colour. Ive never seen any other moissanite in person to compare though.

All three of my rings are from Brilliant Earth – I have the Luxe Anthology wedding set, and the Tiara wedding ring which we customized. Every single experience we had with Brilliant Earth was awesome, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. I love that all my rings are ethical, and the craftsmanship on the pavé is awesome.

I tried on the Elodie ring at their D.C. location and loved it! The sample is with a 1.25 Ct Ring Bearer in 18k white gold, but I’m getting mine with an emerald cut diamond. It’s a gorgeous setting with a beautiful profile!

beebunny :  I’ve had my engagement ring for a year and a half, and I am SUPER rough on rings. My jeweler yells at me all the time for it. I did lose a pave stone a week ago, but it was totally my fault, because I smashed my hand on the counter like a dope. It took my jeweler less than 48 hours to repair. Totally not Brilliant Earth’s fault.

Also, my diamond is drop dead gorgeous. Brilliant Earth’s grading system for fancy shapes is pretty spot on even though the GIA doesn’t give cut grades for Ovals. It was listed as a ‘super ideal’ and I get comments all the time on how sparkly it is, and it barely has a bowtie. So if you’re looking at fancy shapes you can trust them too.

There are some beautiful rings on this thread! I don’t have a ring from BE but I have a friend who does and it’s gorgeous. A very petite ring but it’s got amazing fire and sparkle (her husband went with diamonds rather than moissy.)

Good luck in your search!

SO and I had a consultation with them and hopefully will get ring soon!! Love all of them and was really hard to make a choice. I’m hoping I will get the Peony soon – picture below is NOT mine, stealing just for illustrating purposes, I forgot to snap ANY pictures I was so excited to try more in store.

miumui from what they told me the difference between super premium and premium is the color, super is colorless and premium is near colorless. Oddly enough both SO and I liked premium better in the blind test (they give you a mix of diamonds and moissanites so you can compare without know what is what) because we thought it just had more depth of sparkle/fire.

I ordered a BE ring to the UK, as I helped choose my Engagement Ring. Unfortunately, my S.O does not let me see the ring, as he wants an element of surprise for the engagement!

But they have been amazing with their customer service as far as we are concerned, We realised we ordered the wrong  ring size and they happily altered the ring free of charge though it was already nearing the end of production, and didnt delay shipment though there was a misshap (ring took 2 weeks to deliver to the UK from the point of ordering) fully insured during the delivery process.

We ordered a 2.54 carat Ring Bearer diamond, on a rose gold 6 prong petite band. I am desperate to see it, I know it is somewhere in the house but he must have found an amazing hiding space cause I have tried and failed to find it! Hope he proposes soon as I am so impatient! Will post a picture as soon as he does though! haha
