I had a designer on Etsy make this, but I know she used the wire stem method as she showed pictures in progress!

@MrsJSki:  Best dress ever, lol!  I actually bought mine from the pic without ever trying it on, since no bridal shops in my area had it!  What color did you get?

I had it made for me (I won it in a contest).  I think she uses the stem method.

@Vegas Pug: I agree, she is amazing!  As soon as I saw her (still in the garment bag) I said with a gasp “That is what I want!”  I bought her that day 🙂  I ordered Ivory on Ivory.. I debated but it was the one that I tried on and I was nervous not seeing the others in person.  I almost ordered the gold underlay but my mom really wanted the more traditional feel & I didn’t mind.  I am changing out the sash as well, I can’t wait to wear my dress!

I am in the process of making my brooch bouquet! I found a good number of them at yard sales and antique malls but the majority of them were actually my grandmothers. I have been saving them in a tub that Mr. Lizzard rigged up for me so I can store them without damaging them. I still have a lot to put stems on but I am not going to assemble the bouquet until next summer. I am also going to make personalized boutonnieres for the groomsmen and brooch bouquets for the bridesmaids too!

I used the syrofoam ball method.  I love the way the stem method looks however floral tape and me do not get along.  I got all of my brooches from my bridal shower my girls put a nice note for all guest to bring an inexpensive brooch.  most brought more than 1….
