I would love to include pictures, but I haven’t gotten ’em back yet!

 

Ceremony & Reception Venue: $1,450

(included all tables, chairs, linens, ceremony white uplighting, 2 servers for 2hrs, & tip)

Venue Decor: $450

(dried lilacs, candle pedestals, 3-wick candles, votives, birdcage votive holders, signage etc)

Catering: $1,000

(8.50pp for romaine tossed salad, ham or turkey kaiser sandwiches, cream of potato soup or white chicken chili, red velvet sheet cake, & lemonade, white, & coffee, pop was available at bar but was not included in catering cost)

Open Bar: $700

(bartender for 5hrs, all mixers, midgrade liquor (not crap, not top shelf) & 100lbs of ice)

Photography: SECRET

(I can’t say the price, as I was given a great deal, but my package was worth about $1,800 & included 4hrs of shoot time with 1 award-winning photographer who was fantastic)

Bouquets & Boutonnieres: $345

(custom vintage fabric flowers from etsy: includes 2 small purple & ivory bridesmaid bouquets, & 1 medium size champagne & ivory bridal bouquet, 2 purple & 2 ivory fabric flower boutonnieres with genuine antique skeletons key, my profile pic one of them btw)

Bridal Party Gifts: $115

(hair combs for my girls, & ties for the guys)

Wedding Dress: $485

(includes alterations)

Bridal Accessories: $175

(shoes, necklace, earrings, veil, flower haircomb)

Grooms Attire: $225

(we bought everything, nothing rented. includes shoes, vest, pants, shirt, & tie)

Makeup: $215

(artist is a teacher for MAC. includes trial,  airbrush makeup &  false lashes, & travel pay)

Hair: $100

(includes two trials & day-of, a full size bedhead hair spray & bed head shine spray, & tip)

Eyebrows: $20

(bride & groom eye brow threading, which I highly recommend instead of waxing)

Nails: $110

(includes 3 manicures, & 2 pedicures, plus 1 full set of acrylics)

Total: $6-7k

(I can’t say the exact amount without giving away how much I spent on my photographer, which I told her I wouldn’t do)

@jaijaig88:  We’re in a very rural area and expectations aren’t too high as far as decorating and things like that, which makes it much more doable!

 

Here’s a picture of our head table, I don’t have any of the rest of the reception tables, though.

I don’t have a breakdown yet, but am keeping track.  Our entire maximum budget is $5,000.

His Kilt $800 (his outfit cost at least double mine!)

Officiant Free! Father-In-Law was our officiant

Cake Free from old family friends

Rings $900ish- mine were a set

Glasses $150, doubled as favours

Programs $40

Others $500

So thats $8325. The food, chair covers and invitations were gifts as well I just know how much they were. Gotta say, I’m pretty proud of us for that!

Our budget is about $7500 for 100 people:

Ceremony/reception/food/drinks: $5500

  • They provide the ceremony space and reception space along with table decoration, food, open beer/wine

Photography: $500

  • Two photographers for five hours

Cupcakes: $175

  • 200 mini cupcakes with set up

Tux (Est): $150

Jewelry: $105

  • Handmade by a women in my are for myself and two bridesmaids

Shoes (Est): $60

Rings (Est); $200

Centerpieces (Est): $80

  • Doing floating candles with colored stones in the bottom

Flowers (Est): $150

  • Only doing three bouquets, and grooms flowers maybe

Favors (Est): $90

  • Having my mom bake peanut butter fudge and buckeyes

Makeup: $60

Gifts (Est): $100

Officiant (Est): $100

Other: $200

His uncle is a DJ: So he is doing that for free as our gift

Dress: My grandma is paying for my dress and alterations (it was about $1,100)

Invitations: His mom is doing them for us (she got all the paper on sale for like $30!!)

I think that is everything!

Decor (including table linens, napkins, centerpieces, etc): $400

Calligraphy: Free! 

Day of beauty treatments: $150

@jaijaig88:  We are having italian chicken, green beans, and glazed sweet potatoes. We’re also having salad. Oh, and a separate baked potato bar with lots of toppings. Assorted bread.
