quetal87:  Agree! I couldn’t believe how expensive they were! I paid $16 for ours, and was going to just make it until I found it. Such a money grab.

I ordered these from Etsy- I forget the shop name but can look it up for anyone interested! You can customize the bride and groom, colours, etc. I also ordered the little buntings because I wanted 3 smaller cakes instead of one big one. I loved how it all turned out! Total cost was about $70, including shipping to Canada- but I ordered 3 items. I think the toppers themselves (bride and groom) were $30-40?

I ended up making mine since I didn’t want to pay $200+ for it. Total cost of all the material used: $40! ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re having a “wine & literature” theme so I’ll be DIY’ing this one!

A little pricey (i think it was like $150?) but we get to keep it forever and it looks just like us and it’s totally adorable. And it goes perfectly with our theme.

It’s a little replica of where we got engaged. It was made by WireForest on Etsy, they have a lot of different wire tree cake toppers, if you want something a little less traditional.
