Susana888:  You could always do both. I’m sure there’s some way to mix the two themes together in a way that works well. An ombre wedding cake might work.

This was our cake. I picked it less than 30 days before ceremony/reception day. I just needed a cake and it was the last thing on my big list to get done. I was lucky she was able to do the order in that amount of time because I heard that a lot of professional wedding cake bakers require 6 months in advance. But because I wanted simple and not extravagant she was willing to place the order. Wasn’t too sure about the huge bow but it matched our colors.

This is exactly what I want, but finding a bakery willing to make a wedding cake for January 3rd (peak wedding season in Australia?!) is proving very tricky…
