Hey Rustic, Here’s a pic of my cake table. I also had a seperate table for my candy buffet.

Have not put mine together yet, but I have a general idea of what we’re doing.

Our cake setup will look something like this.. which includes 2 drink fountains [probably punches?], & chocolate fountain.

This is our cake stand by the way.. so you know what it sort of looks like.. the large cake stand on the bottom will be used for the fruit. Also putting LED lights in the cakestands.

I sort of have a plan in my head of how I want the candy buffet/dessert buffet to look, just not exactly sure how I’m going to do it yet. Basically, we want our candy buffet tierd, maybe 2 tiers and then the bottom [which would be the table]. We’re going to use some smaller ostrich feather towers I made specifically for it..

This is a rough draft of how itll be done.

We are going to get a small table to put the ” for here ” plates & the to-go boxes.

And, lastly, there will be shot glasses filled with buttermints, mixed nuts, ect wherever there is space left.

Ours was pretty simple.  I had a few candles and roses.  We used the same color pintuck linen as our reception tables and had a sign showing the different types as it was self serve.  It worked for our mountain winter wedding and was super easy to put together.

@rusticbee2014:  I REALLY like to be organized, just in case something goes terribly wrong.. someone else could set up the table for me if I couldn’t!

We had the cake on a table by itself (with some flowers) we also had some sheet cakes, but they were with the rest of the food.

@rusticbee2014:  Yes it is babies breath and white roses. Were both dallas cowboys fans so the caketopper reflected that:)

@rusticbee2014:  Thanks, it’s called a naked cake! I’m not a big frosting eater, so I was really excited to be able to have one without. A friend made it for us and it was delicious 🙂
