We made a little wooden box with a slit in the top. It had gold hinges on the back and a gold padlock on the front. I stained it a dark mahogany colour. I loved it! A friend of mine liked it so much she asked to borrow it for her own wedding that was 2 months later. I don’t seem to have a picture of it though and my friend still has it.

A tree trunk card box embellished with some moss etc would be perfect.

@OnceUponATime:  yes, it’s glass with etching. My only thing is what the hell will I do with it after the wedding? I don’t see myself putting it on display.
