So Fiance and I are on the hunt for a card holder. We’ve been looking at birdcages, and one in particular that I really like, was one that my brother had at his wedding (pictured below). Since I’m still waiting to hear whether or not I can borrow it, I thought I’d ask you lovely ladies (and some gents) to see what you guys had.
So for those who skip to the end…show me your card boxes and how much did you spend?

I wish I had a picture looking straight at it. I need to remember to take one when I get home. Anyways, we bought a basketball display case and I used stained glass window paint to put the B on the front. We spent about $30 total on it I think. I hope you can kind of get the idea from the picture even though it’s cut off.

This is my inspiration. I am making my own (about half way done) for less than $20. No pic yet.

@GeorgiaBride5: I’ve seen ones like that on etsy, but we’re in need of a bigger one which is why I need an alternative option.
@mchitt329: I definitely liked the photobox idea, but it was definitely more than what we wanted to pay.
@MrsBeck: I love that idea! I’ll definitely run it by Fiance

I just found a black birdcage at Michaels last weekend. Done and done. It was $20 on sale.
I was going to make something but I can’t argue with how easy that was!

@meke: thanks. I picked up the box at Burlington Coat Factory. The handle was a little ripped. Easy fix. it cost $1.99. YAY…..
