In the process of designing a ring and want to get some ideas for the profile. Post a pic of your solitaire cathedral setting, profile included. And if you want to include ring size and stone size, I wont be mad 😉

Just got mine!!! It’s 1.3-1.5 thick with claw prongs

I had this ring along time ago. I always loved the sleek classic look of this setting. The shank measured 2mm and the center stone was 1.2 carats

My ring has side stones, but I thought it still may be helpful 🙂

Whoops! Sorry, I didn’t see solitaire and posted my halo’s cathedral setting!
Lovely rings everyone!

Mine is a fairly basic cathedral. I had two requirements for my setting. The first was that the shoulders appear to meet the prongs/stone so that no space is visible between them either from the top or the sides. The second was that a wedding band sit flush with it. Most cathedrals are ideal in this regard, so no issues there.
My setting is 18K YG, with a 1.71 ct diamond on a size 7 finger.

Love my cathedral setting!! The only thing I told my Fiance I wanted was a princess cut diamond…anything else, he got to pick 🙂 So here is my beauty <3 The bonus is the peek-a-boo diamond at the tip fo the solitare on both sides–kinda hard to see in this pic sorry!
Ring size 7
