So I got a “sample” centerpiece from the florist we are working with today and I am SUPER disappointed. I think the problem might have been that I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but now that I have seen her vision, I hate it… So now I need to go back and tell her what I want… Our colors are coral and we were looking into roses, carnations, and daisys as the primary flowers..
Show me your centerpieces.. What did you pay for them???? We have 18 tables we need centerpieces for.
Also, what are you paying for other flowers (coursages, boutineere’s, bouquets).

I’ve included pictures of all the floral elements of my wedding, except for the bouts and the moms’ bouquets. I also used a bouquet for my bridal portraits, and I had a ‘toss bouquet’ that I gave to my future SIL (that’s marrying my DH’s brother). There were also petals for the flower girl and some along a walkway (not the main aisle). My request was “roses and a seasonal mix” – whatever was yellow and cheapest. I also wanted the tall dyed baby’s breath centerpieces, though we only had 3 of those. For 9 short and 3 tall centerpieces, 5 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, 2 moms bouquets, 15ish bouts, the rental daisies down the aisle, the initials, and whatever else I’m forgetting, it was $1600.
Carnation initials and the short centerpiece (tables didn’t look so bare once there was food and drink and purses and whatnot…
My bouquet was white/ivory, MOHs were yellow and white, and BMs were yellow.
The reception was upstairs, so we decorated the stairwell a little…
Mix of short and tall centerpieces…
Daisies down the aisle… no other outdoor flowers…
The full staircase… more flowers at the top…
Hope this helps!

I am posting because I had a March wedding and we used seasonal ish flowers. Due to a crappy spring I was left with limited choices. Our bridal party flowers consisted of: 2 different shades of roses, 2 different shades of carnations, tulips, hypericum berries, a few ranunculus, dusty miller and eucalyptus. We also used mini carns and spray roses.
Here is my bouquet:
For our centerpeices we cut out the more pricey elements and used more roses and carns.
Here are our arrangements made by the florist:
Here are my diy ones made from the bulk flowers my florist provided me:
We had 13 tables with centerpieces (5 arranged by florist), 2 large urns I diy’ed, 2 bouquets, 10 boots, curly willow bunches to line our ceremony aisle for $1400.

Thanks bee’s! I talked to another florist today (who happens to be my mom’s cousin.. we live in a small town) and got an AWESOME quoteand much more of what I wanted. She is doing my bridal bouquet, 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man, 9 bouts, and 6 coursages for $250 (normally in my area this would run for around $400). We are doing “cheaper” flowers.. I love daisys and knew I wanted it as my main flower. My bouquet wil be white hydrageas and coral daisys, the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouqets will the all coral daisys and babies breath, the bouts and coursages are single mini daisys with babys breath. We talked with the florist as well and decided to do our own centerpieces. She could do what we wanted (simple, but fairly “full” looking) for about 25 each (which would have totaled another $450) but she said she could order the flowers for us for about $150 (again this is her cutting us a deal for being related). We will just have to buy vases and ribbon!
