What a nice venue! Ours is similar and were doing a U shape so there is kind of a long dance floor.

What colors are you using?

Hmm I don’t really have any great ideas, don’t know what I’m doing myself. But that is an amazing reception space!

I rather regret not moving the vase of flowers that someone had left on the registry table, but otherwise there was next to no decor.

That said, we were blessed with a venue which would have looked rather perfect in a Jane Austen adaptation (or a visit for the residents of Downton Abbey).

with the beams (reception area) I think it would look really nice to drap fabric from one to another… to break up all the wood…. as for the ceremony …vases with curly willow sticks and flowers lining the aisle would look nice- you could then take them into the reception room and use them as centerpieces…. =) something like this maybe? (add your colors in with the ribbons, tablecloths)

My ceremony was outside but I feel this type of decor could work anywhere.  We had 2 urns with curly willow, filler and berries at the altar and I lined the aisle with curly willow, candles and flower accents here and there.

In the event that we had to do our ceremony indoors I was going to use the urns, willow aisle and flower accents…but I was going to pump up the candles since I was using cylinder vases for the reception.  Kinda like this:

Our ceremony decor was really basic.  We had the chuppah (wedding canopy) up front, pew bows at the end of each aisle, and gold sashes around each of the front seats.

I think it may be really pretty to drape lights around the beams and cover with a whitish/sheer fabric. That always looks elegant.
