NEAM2014:  Sure! It’s a tulip setting on the sides. Here it is:

It’s an OMC GIA certified “Fancy Light Brown”, although the yellow diamonds surrounding it make it look a little whiter in person as does the flourescence. In low lights it looks like champagne,n I love it!

Nena16:  a jeweler told me to never trust egl reports. They are known for being “quite generous” (um, liars) with their diamond grading

champagne heirloomthis isn’t the best lighting but this is a 1ct light champagne diamond on a platinum band with side diamonds. I’m giving this to my 12yrs old daughter when she turns 16yrs old.

I color. It looks warmer to me in photos, and in the store lighting I can see hints of yellow. The cut and clarity are high quality so it sparkles like crazy.

L color oval! I love the warm buttery color of this diamond, it’s got so much fire and is so beautiful, especially in person ๐Ÿ™‚

And just for some extra eye candy, here is my stunning honey colored moissanite. The color of this stone is amazing! She will be set in a yellow gold bezel solitaire rhr!

Mine is probably too dark for this thread…but I can’t help but show it off. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a C7 Cognac diamond. Natural, not enhanced. 1.25 carat weight for the center stone.

MrsSparkleBee13:  I’m not usually one for yellow stones….but your ring set is gorgeous! I wouldn’t mind wearing that shade of yellow! Your ‘warm buttery’ description is perfect!

steny03:  omg that’s such a beautiful deep color!! Any ideas for a wedding band? A cognac diamond wedding band would be stunning!

MrsSparkleBee13:  We ended up ordering a custom made band that will sit flush with my ring. It will just be plain white diamonds, but I’m hoping for my first anniversary to be able to replace every-other-stone in it with matching dark cognac diamonds. ๐Ÿ™‚

steny03:  thanks for the compliment!  Your idea of replacing every other stone for an anniversary would be lovely! If your into stacking you could always add a fancy brown diamond band to your set for an anniversary or milestone so you don’t have to take diamonds out of the wedding band you were married with. Just a thought ๐Ÿ™‚
